Greetings, alums!
I trust you had a great holiday season. We are ready to start the new year off right here at the School of Social Work and would like to inform you on some of our news.
First, several of our faculty and staff will be attending the Society for Social Work Research (SSWR) next week in Washington, DC. The conference will be held Janaury 11-15, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Washington. We'd love to see you there. Stop by to catch up and give us your latest contact information or job updates.
Secondly, we're preparing for our 50th Annivesary Celebration in 2014. We want to make sure this is an awesome event, so we are beginning our preliminary planning later this month. Dean Daniels will host the initial Planning Committee Luncheon on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in the Oak Dining Room at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
